Hesitation:
Ask my spouse...
I need to ask my spouse...

Practice talking through the wording below so that you get familiar with the phrasing, but the goal is to eventually put these ideas into your own conversational flow. First master thinking about it this way, then make it your own so it fits the conversation.

ASK MY SPOUSE

“I totally understand. We don’t want you in the dog house! Which plan are you going to push for? (do they really have a clear idea of trying to get this going, or is it a smokescreen?)

We’ve just spent an hour together and you have all these feel-good endorphins running around your bloodstream right now that your spouse didn’t get to experience, plus it’s not their [X] back that has been giving them all the trouble - it’s yours! And what we’ve found is that it’s really difficult for one spouse that wants this to help the other spouse understand what a difference this can make. In fact, it’s not very often they can get their other half on board, cuz all the spouse hears is the money part (and like we talked about before, a lot of people at first glance may think this is a lot). So what works better is if we can get on the phone all together and I can explain it to them for you.

CTA: Let's do that right now so that I can get your online booking portal set up for you before you leave and we can get you on the calendar for next week / later this week. How about we use your phone so they recognize the number ok?
