CareerPlug is the Stretch Zone hiring platform. There is a user account for each of studio lead email address with password Stretch1.  If it forces a password change, please record your change in your studio passwords Google doc.

How to use CareerPlug:

  • Log into https://app.careerplug.com/user/sign_in

  • Locate job postings for your studio in the main Recruiting/ATS area under the Jobs tab.

  • Click on the job name (which will be a hyperlink)

  • You will see a screen that shows applicant categories in light blue on the left side of the screen. You will be most interested in the categories New Applicants and In Progress. Clicking those respective categories will take you to the list of candidates that fall under that segment.

  • To see the full profile click the candidate name (a hyperlink)

    • You'll see a checklist showing where they are in the hiring process on the left side and their resume on the right side.

    • PLEASE DO NOT MAKE CHANGES TO THEIR HIRING STAGE.

    • Please DO:

      • Rank applicants as relevant/desirable with the smiley face icon

      • Leave a comment by clicking the three dots at the top right, including your initials. Then Add Comment.

  • Your main role in accessing CareerPlug is to assess how many and what kind of applicants are coming in for the positions you want to fill, gain specific candidate information, and log feedback so that LSAs and regional managers can have efficient discussions about applicants. It is not the LSA's role to send communications or advance applicants through the hiring process.

  • Once a new applicant progresses a few steps into the screening process, an invitation to the Google questionnaire for their position will go out. As responses come in, they will be automatically added to the current Google sheet for that positions.

  • By accessing additional info specific to our studio needs we can further screen applicants before taking time to meet with them.

  • Once it is determined that a candidate will proceed into the interview process, the regional manager will coordinate with the LSA to schedule group interviews and continue toward hiring decisions.

By the time any candidate arrives at the group interview, we should know that all main requirements are met and we are mainly wanting to see if they are a fit culturally for our team, clients and studio. Group interviews should last 25-40 minutes depending on group size. Solo interviews 15-20 minutes (we will already know their answers to the most important questions).

Take notes and be prepared to discuss them with your regional manager if they are not present.

Thanks for taking time to care about gathering just the right crew for your studios. It is a flurry of activity for a short time, and the rewards are very worth it!
