“Amateurs practice until they get it right.  Professionals practice until they can’t get it wrong”

Pre-Demo Scripts - Please KNOW these word for word. They can be adapted to your style as long as the most important points and words are covered.

OVERVIEW OF WHAT WE DO

“Before we get started, let me tell you a little about what we do here at Stretch Zone. We provide a service called practitioner-assisted stretching where we help improve your lifestyle through mobility. We work with everyone from those living sedentary lives to professional athletes. We have created memberships where our members come in anywhere from 1 to 3 times per week. One of the best things about our service is that you will feel INSTANT results. The more consistent you are over the course of your membership, the longer lasting those results will become.”

3/5/7 INTENSITY SCALE

"Here at Stretch Zone we communicate the intensity of the stretches by using a scale of 1-10. 1 means that you barely feel the stretch and 10 means you would like for them to let go. A 3 is a nice light stretch, a 5 is a comfortable moderate stretch, and a 7 is a good deep stretch, but even at a 7 you should never feel any discomfort"

QUALIFICATIONS

"Today you will be working with (insert practitioner’s name). Everyone who works here has a background in anatomy & physiology and have all been certified through our accredited certification program."

JOBS OF THE PROSPECT

"During your session with ________ today, there are just a few jobs we ask you to do. First is to relax. The practitioner will be doing all the work, so just try and relax as much as possible. Next is to breathe, breathing is incredibly important while being stretched and will help you to relax. Next is to communicate, as only you know how you are feeling during the stretch, so make sure to use the 3,5,7 scale I mentioned earlier. Last is to just visualize your muscle softening and lengthening as you receive the stretches today. Are you ready to meet your practitioner and begin the stretch?"

TRANSITION TO PRACTITIONER

"Hi Justin, this is Sara. Sara is a tennis coach who has been experiencing some upper back and hamstring discomfort. She has a previous ACL tear on her left knee. Her goal is to be able to coach her 6 clients a week without having the upper back discomfort. Please perform the tennis protocol on her today." (EXAMPLE)
