Stretch Variations: Member Program Columns

Weeks 1-9

Weeks 10+
When a member joins Stretch Zone, they want to know we have a specific plan for their care. We are the trained and certified experts in assisted stretch, and following the above plans ensures that members get focused, yet all-over-body care.
After the demo, the practitioner who worked with them should make their normal notes on the session (including Key Notes) and also make a Column Recommendation for their care over the coming weeks.
Each column has a color that is closely associated with the color of "cell" that is emphasized most (designed to target that area of the body).
For example, if their primary focus is hip mobility (red cell), then the practitioner would assign Column A (the red column) and recommend A1 for their next upcoming stretch session. This way, any practitioner they choose would know to begin with the stretches indicated in the A1 block which are R, B, Y, GN (Red, Blue, Yellow and Green cells). As we move them through a normal progression, the next session would be A2 and so on until they complete A16, and then we begin again at A1 OR assign a new column/ body area to focus on.
Helping people understand where they are in relation to their program will boost retention and help them stay on track longer. Use phrases like "Today you are on your 5th session and your plan indicates we work on hips, inner thigh and upper back... next time we'll focus on hip flexors, more hips and neck". This gives them confidence that we are customizing our stretch experience just for them and their specific needs.
***WE DO NOT WANT TO ASK "What would you like to work on today?" when they come in. We need to display that we are aware of how the body works and executing a plan in place just for them. They don't have the knowledge or certifications that our stretchers do and they likely do not have a concept of what needs to happen to feel better. That's why they come to us. So let's follow our patented framework and help them experience the benefits of the Stretch Zone Effect!
Note: practitioners should be prepared to follow the plan for the next set of stretches, but if a client expresses interest in a specific area, for example, "I slept wrong and I would like to work on my neck today too..." then of course we can make a departure from the plan. Just use caution and educate them on making sure we are primarily following our plan to reduce imbalances and return the body wholistically to health and freedom of movement, not just help one area alone.
