SZ Script:
Intake & Problem Discovery

A high quality Intake begins with a quality Telephone Inquiry that gathers great Key Notes!

ONCE THEY ARE IN STUDIO let them settle in...

  • "Did you find our studio ok?

  • "You're here now - this is your time to relax!

MEET & GREET 5 Key Points

Set them at ease by explaining what they can expect on their studio visit, while walking alongside them back to the consult desk.  "We will...

1. Complete the Intake form so we can learn about anything your dealing with so we give you a safe stretch, and understand how we can help you

2. Then your practitioner will conduct a brief warm-up

3. Assess your natural range of motion

4. Perform a series of assisted stretches

5. Then we will get back together at the end to discuss membership options (so you can come back in as much as you want!)

OVERVIEW OF WHAT WE DO

“Before we get started, let me tell you a little about what we do here at Stretch Zone. We provide a service called practitioner-assisted stretching where we help improve your lifestyle through mobility. We work with everyone from those living sedentary lives to professional athletes. We have created memberships where our members come in anywhere from 1 to 3 times per week. One of the best things about our service is that you will feel INSTANT results. The more consistent you are over the course of your membership, the longer lasting those results will become.”

INTAKE QUESTIONS

*These can also be found on your studios Google form*

What do you currently do to stay active?

  • List all the physical activities they engage in.

  • Ask follow-up questions like:

    • "How long have you been doing that?"

    • "How many times per week do you participate?"

    • "What does your typical workout include?"

Are you mostly sedentary or active throughout the day?

  • This is an excellent opportunity to engage by asking,

    • "Is that influenced by your job?

    • What is your occupation?"

Rate Your Current Activity Level on a Scale of 1 to 10

On this scale, 1 represents the least active level, while 10 signifies the most active level.

What's Your Main Area of Concern?

This refers to the primary physical issue that individuals wish to have addressed.

Select Additional Areas Refers to other concerns that they would like to address during their membership, though these are not the primary focus for today's session.

What activities does your current pain or discomfort prevent you from doing?

  • Please list all that apply. Ask follow-up questions based on the conversation, such as:

    • "How long have you been experiencing this?"

    • "Have you noticed any impact on your work performance?"

    • "Does this affect the time you can spend with your family?"

    • "How many times per week would you ideally like to do x compared to your current frequency?"

  • Rate Your Current Pain/Discomfort on a Scale of 1-10
On this scale, 1 represents the least amount of discomfort, while 10 indicates the most extreme level of pain. Please consider your overall feelings on a daily basis or reflect on the moments when your discomfort is at its worst throughout the day.

  • What actions are you currently taking to address these issues? This may include therapies such as chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupuncture, stretching exercises, or the use of medications or shots, among others.

  • What prevents you from addressing these as often as you would like? This will provide valuable insight into potential objections they may have later.

Which option is most important to you and aligns with your main goal: Choose all that apply.

  • Reduce stiffness / tightness

  • Increase Range of Motion

  • Improve Athletic Performance

The MAIN goal differs from the area of concern. It should be specific, singular, and tangible, serving as the foundation for the practitioners' efforts throughout the membership. This goal will be articulated by the practitioner during the warm-up and reiterated during any discussions about overcoming objections, if necessary. This approach helps remind the member of their purpose for attending today.

Select the days and times that are most convenient for you. This section will explain the store hours. It is important to communicate the flexibility in the schedule to address any concerns about fitting this into daily life.

  • Which days of the week could be convenient for this new healthy habit?

  • Mornings, afternoons or evenings?

USE THE RX PAD

the In As you wrap up your Intake conversation, fill out the Session Overview paper to pass this important info along to the practitioner.  Be sure to include any applicable modifications/injuries, THE GOAL, and demo stretch protocol cells.

When the Inake is complete, go on to the Pre-Demo scripts.  If it feels natural, you can weave them throughout the Intake where the conversation allows.

  • Intensity Scale (3/5/7

  • 4 jobs

  • Practitioner qualifications and certification

Remember - the main point of the Intake is to help the client discover what problems they have that can be solved better with Stretch Zone than with ANY other solution... including procrastinating or making a choice to do nothing different.

Introduce the guest to their practitioner and as you do, continue to build them up, remind the guest they will feel instant results and that you'll meet back together after their amazing stretch!  Transfer the RX pad to the practitioner with explananations.
